Meet the Superheroes of Room 5!!!

We all have something that we are SUPER at doing.
In Room 5, we made up our own superhero name and Mrs Saker took a photo of us doing our favourite superhero pose. We used mirrors, pencils, black vivid and pastels to create a self portrait of our faces and then used coloured bits of paper to collage our own superhero cape.

Ratalie Portman

On Tuesday Seren brought in her pet rat 'Ratalie Portman' to meet us. Ratalie is able to move around very cleverly inside her rat ball. Seren took her out of the ball and we were allowed to pat her if we wanted - we found out that she is very friendly and clean! Of course we still washed our hands afterwards. One of her favourite places to play is her shoebox.

Our Super Big Buddies and Spelling Rockets

Every Friday Room 5 are very lucky to be visited by our big buddies from across the road...Room 22! They help test us on our spelling rocket words and then we spend some fun time together. Last week, our buddies read to us and then we showed them around the Junior butterfly garden. This week, Room 22 had a special activity for us to do. We made our very own....butterfly circles! We can't wait to share them once we have finished decorating them. THANK YOU Room 22!
